We are currently looking to recruit a Cycle Maintenance Project Manager. This is a permanent post based in our offices at Southwark, working 4 days a week.
CTUK has a strong presence in the cycle maintenance sector in London. We offer basic and intermediate one day maintenance courses, bike building courses and short maintenance taster sessions. We are presently working with other agencies to develop the City and Guilds Cycle Maintenance syllabus and will be offering City and Guilds accredited courses in the Autumn. The Maintenance Project Manager will have the opportunity to develop and grow this part of our business. You should be a dynamic self- starter with excellent maintenance, admin and communication skills. You should be an accomplished, confident cyclist – it is desirable although not essential to be a qualified cycling instructor. This role includes administrative duties such as booking maintenance courses, purchasing parts as well general project management. You must be able to deliver our range of maintenance services as well as develop new products. You will be required to give a small demonstration of your practical maintenance skills in the interview.
CTUK is a not-for-profit workers' co-operative that promotes cycling as a means of transport, chiefly by providing Bikeability cycle training and maintenance training. We provide training to schools, organisations and businesses as well as to individuals. We are one of the leading instructor training providers in the sector and deliver professional development training and consultancy work.
